Integrated System for Tourism Quality
The Integrated System for Tourism Quality is one of the most ambitious projects PICTE (Integral Plan of Spanish Tourism Quality ) based on a model that allows continuous and comprehensive quality management in any national tourist destination.

• Funded by the General Secretariat of Tourism
SICTED comprises the horizontal nature of quality in a tourist destination , intervening :
Subsectors already developed by SCTE
Previously developed new subsectors
Municipal utilities not from tourism branch.

The aim is to achieve a consistent level of quality within a destination.

Creating a Management organization (called Ribadesella Quality Committee )
WHAT CONDITIONS MUST BE REACH TO RECEIVE THIS BUSINESSES DISTINCTIVE ?
Property / service / acceded to SICTED entity shall provide at least six months of activity.
The attached should have gone to the training , technical assistance and meetings to improve the destination for which it has been called since accession.
Must meet at least the mandatory requirements of MBP (Good practice guide.book).
Must meet the requirements and commitments made by the time of accession to SICTED . Protocol of Acquirement .
Compliance requirements are checked by an external audit.
The audit report is passed to the Certification Committee, and then the Quality Committee is who authorizes or denies the use of the cetificate.

Currently there are 227 destinations that are participating in the spread model throughout the Spanish geography and contribute to make Spain a quality tourist destination . They are grouped by type, Ribadesella belongs to the type Villas Marineras (Sailing villages) along with others members of the Club from the same category to which it belongs .
